Dvojice pozdních gólů pomohla týmu Toca FC 10 k vítězství proti týmu Galaxy SC 11 v Midwestern souboji o titul 13U. Galaxy vedla brzkým gólem Ethana Padilly v 12. minutě. Nabídka Jylko Bermudeze přišla o dvě minuty později po trefě rakety do horního rohu a vyrovnala. Bermudez poslal Tocu do vedení 2-1 těsně před poločasem. We’re familiar with the format, whether it’s E64 or National League, the competition is always great. It pushes the boys to be the best they can be.
“We have really good teams in our region, but playing against nationally ranked teams that push us – that’s something we always look forward to.”
In addition to the teams that earned a spot in the National League P.R.O., six teams also won the championship competition in their age group and claimed titles from the Elite 64 Playoffs.

Toca led all boys clubs by capturing three titles in the championship group, while also having another finalist and qualifying all five possible teams for the National League P.R.O. Toca FC Director of Coaching Jon Collett spoke about the value of the playoff environment for their team.
“It’s huge, especially for the older players,” Collett said. “You’re looking for competition, but there’s also camaraderie. When they’re playing match after match and a few matches end in penalties, the other teams are watching them and celebrating together, which is great for the club.
“As far as the competition, it was good. All teams from 2010 to 2005 qualified for Tampa. It’s great for the club. It’s good exposure, and it’s good to play in the next round of competition in February.”

A pair of late goals helped the Toca FC 10 team secure a victory over Galaxy SC 11 in the Midwest title showdown for the 13U age group. Galaxy took the lead with an early goal from Ethan Padilla in the 12th minute. Jylko Bermudez equalized two minutes later with a rocket shot into the top corner. Bermudez then put Toca ahead 2-1 just before halftime. Kansas extended their lead in the 57th minute with a breakaway goal from Tristan Zimmerman.
